Who we are
Hope Mobile Showers is a whānau-led and not-for-profit initiative created to provide practical support to people experiencing homelessness and hardship.
Our mahi is grounded in manaakitanga, dignity and compassion. We meet people where they are and provide support without judgement, recognising that everyone deserves access to basic necessities and to be treated with respect and kindness.
Through our mobile shower service, fresh towels and hygiene essentials, along with initiatives such as winter clothing collections, we provide practical support to people in our community when they need it most.
At Hope, it is not just about what we provide — it is about how we make people feel: seen, respected and valued.
This is who we are. This is our mahi. This is Hope.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide free, practical and compassionate support to people experiencing homelessness and hardship.
Through our mobile shower service and community initiatives, we aim to meet people where they are, provide access to essential needs, and uphold manaakitanga, dignity and respect.
We are here to support our community, restore dignity and offer hope.
Our vision
Our vision is for a community where everyone has access to basic necessities, feels valued and treated with dignity, and knows they are not alone.
We aspire to create meaningful, practical pathways of support for people experiencing homelessness and hardship, while encouraging compassion and hope throughout our community.
Our team
Hope is whānau-owned and whānau-led, with a team committed to serving our community with manaakitanga, compassion and dignity.
Our strength comes from knowing that the services we provide are needed, meaningful and make a real difference to people in our community.
Our younger volunteers, our son and our grandchildren have also been part of the journey, helping us build and prepare our mobile units alongside us. Their involvement is an important part of our whānau journey and gives them the opportunity to learn, contribute and experience the value of giving back.
Together, we give our time, skills and energy to create safe, welcoming spaces and provide practical support to those who need it.
Hope is a whānau journey — built together, serving together, and giving back together.
